Arizona Central Railway

This is an ex-Santa Fe branch line that runs between Drake and Clarkdale, with the Verde Valley RR running passenger service on the AZCR between Perkinsville and Clarkdale. The tours run through the scenic Red Rock country along the Verde River (near Sedona) and they are now using 2 ex Alaska FP7A's painted with a large eagle on the sides. This is a really nice day trip - one might see eagles from the open air flatcars, or from the rebuilt coaches.

	This was a runby for a railfan special on March 24, 1991, and the caboose was chartered by us fans as our "private car". Shown here just out of Clarkdale a few miles.

	This ex Great Northern car "The Appekuny Mountain" is at Clarkdale on March 24, 1991 in Espee colors. It was then sold to the Arizona & California RR, and it has now left that road.
