The ACR in the Wisconsin Central Era

During the Wisconsin Central years there were quite a few changes, the most famous from a railfan view would be the F units that were used on the passenger trains. Here are a few photos of the "WC ACR". Now that the Canadian National has taken over the Wisconsin Central, things changed again.....

	1752 - Here is one of the ex VIA/CNR FP9's that the ACR/WC bought and rebuilt for passenger train service. This one is at Steelton on the night of Aug. 9, 1996. 25B Flashbulb lighting by John Sharp.

	This is Train No. 3, The Agawa Canyon Tour, at Brule Road crossing in Sault Ste Marie early on the morning of Aug. 9, 1996.
	Along with the FP9 A units, the ACR also got 4 F9B units, and 2 of them are now in service. Here is one of them at Steelton on Aug. 9, 1996.

	Wisconsin Central SD45's are now fairly common on the ACR for freight service. Here is one of them with the Hawk Jct. station in the background. Taken on Aug. 6, 1996 with flashbulb lighting by John Sharp.
	Hearst yard has quite a variety of power on the morning of Aug. 8, 1996. You can see an FP9, a GP9 and also an SDL39.
	Here is Train No. 3, the Agawa Canyon Tour, about 2 miles south of Northland, along the Searchmont Highway. Aug. 10, 1996.

	Privately owned motorcars are allowed on the ACR at times. Here is one such tour near Bellevue on June 14, 1994.
	Here is an example of the new racks the ACR/WC recently bought for log and pulpwood service. This car is at Oba on Aug. 8, 1996.
